Problems with G18c Gbb

hey i dissasembled my g18c and now im having trouble reassembling it. Everything fits but i think ive got the spring wrong. It slides back on to the gun but then gets stuck. It sits about 1 cm back on the gun and wont cock back. IT wont even BUDGE! If you have the solution it would be greatly apprecieated if you could share your knowleddge.

the recoil spring might be seated on the wrong edge. check to see its seated on the middle of the three edges.

If it's stuck like that, what you can do is grab the recoil rod from the front of the gun, tug it gently and try to wiggle it back into the right place. That usually at least lets the slide return to battery so that you can remove it and get the recoil spring back to the correct position.

It should be on the notch formed by parts on both the outer barrel and the front of the plastic feed ramp, not just resting up high right against the outer barrel.
