PDI T96 Hopup chamber... WHAT THE HELL?

So... I got this hopup... It didn't come with any instructions or anything...

I've got a small baggy with an allen key, a spring.. And another one with a bunch of O rings, a small bucking, and 5 various set-screws...

... Anyone wanna give me some insight before I try a shot in the dark?

So far... RH75 rubber is on the barrel.. No idea where the brass thing goes, nor the plastic thing...

Barrel is in the PDI hop chamber with the little aluminum stabilization ring thing on it.. found where the set screws go... Except one of the shorter fat ones.. havn't used a single Oring... Nor the little spring..

Really would like to know where the orings and the spring goes..

YouTube - Maruzen Type 96 Disassembly and PDI Hop-Up AssemblyPart2

Took 2 hours of searching.. and about 2 hours of assembly... But it's worth it

Problem solved thanks to the internet.

There are somethings on this hopchamber that could be changed... By putting it in, I managed to completely crush the spring and re-sets the hop adjustment..

hahaha

got mine used... I can tell you that the spring is NOT necessairy. Worked on my L96 at 575 FPS very stable hop.

EDIT

Try to find some harder replacement for that little screw that holds your magcatch. broke it twice, and I ended making some plastic guide INSIDE the gun yo have it hold there.... no screw.

If you have some thin plastic card and double face tape, you can add a layer or two inside the gun body just behind the magcatch to help the screw do it's job.

Spring only pushes the lever down after the BB has passed. Which is the same as what the large O-ring does. I have yet to have a spring in my hop up units like that, never saw the point of it. I DID drill a hole just above the lever on my stock CA M24 hop up and put a small set screw into the top of the barrel to hold down the lever in an attempt to make the hop up act more consistantly. Not really sure if it did anything. And was a pain to adjust, had to take the sun shade off my gun to access it.

Euch what a pain in the ass...

I got everything sorta good... Only problem the little stabilization thinggy doesn't wanna work.. But I said fuck it because the RH75 i'm using came with a synthetic one that'll be just as good.

Now all I need is one of those good quality inner barrel stabilizers... my new inner barrel is... quite crooked because of the small foam peices holding it in place.

Oh well, I can accurately hit a small piece of wood that's about... 150 feet away... I think It's an improvement over my old barrel and hopup assembly...

Only problem is that my gun is almost certainly firing too hot for the fields I play on..
