G36C losing connection
Just a quick fix I hope someone has a solution for.
The gearbox works otuside of the gun when hooekd up to a battery, but when the gearbox is inserted into the hand grip to begin assembly, the gun is tested again and nothing happens, the motor doesnt even turn. Im assuming its shorting out somewhere, but is that the only problem? any suggestions? |

have you checked the switch assembly? when i changed mine (xm8) it was a little too big, so when i put it in, the.. i dont know what it is called, but it wouldn't let it go in all the way.

I've had this happen on a SIG552, turns out the selector switch wasnt contacting properly, and it could be a very small hole in a wire somewhere causing it to short out.

i move the selector switch around and it is hitting the contacts but nothing. ( gearbox in the hand grip_
So, i did a little test. I kept shotting the gearbox and pullngi it out every cm to see when it will start to shoot. I pulled it a good length out except for the motor was still in the hand grip then it started to shoot. So i am assuming somewhere after the motor is a wire (possibly being pinched). Ill have to re do the wiring and ill get back to you guys here. Thanks. |

stalker, i just dont care to correct typos:/ its a bad habbit :P
Anyways, I just cant figure it out. I push on wires and i pull them away from teh gearbox to mimic the pressure that the hand grip does on the wires...but nothing. I'm just running out of ideas on why it stops shooting. Also, I noticed now that the motor is getting hot when its not shooting and not making any sounds.. and the long wire that goes on the top that is shrink wrapped is getting a little bit hot too. Any ideas where this short is located? |
