Battery heat after ~50 rnds??
Hey all, i just got my M4 up and running after blowing a fuse. So i replaced it with a 20A and now my battery is getting super hot after about 50 rounds or so....never had this happen with any of my other guns. The battery is an 8.4 600 mini, i will note however that the wires going into the plug are a little loose, but i doubt they would cause the battery to heat up this much (its almost too hot to touch). Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts? I've never managed to bugger a battery yet, and i don't want a first time lol.

Have you made any changes to your mechbox lately? Sounds like something in there is a little tight.

Nope, mechbox was upgraded by a previous owner but is peachy and i haven't had it open personally.
I'll have a fiddle with the plug connectors and see if i can tidy them up a bit. As well as get a new battery (need one anyway) and see if it changes. It just has me confused, never had this happen before. Just hoping it wasn't going to cause some sort of catestrophic failure. I can live with a pooched batt, but a burnt out gun, or melting wires is another story. Thanks for the replies. |

yeah check to see if the wires are to tight "and the metal wires are passing throw the protective rubber", they might be touching each other or some thing in metal that makes a short when your shooting.
