KSC G19 Trouble
G19, metal slide. Will not cycle slide back far enough to chamber another BB. If I manually rack the slide and release, it chambers fine. Any ideas? The slide replacement went fine, I shot 1000 problem free shots after.

Check your rocket valve / reed valve / plunger valve / whatever-other-million-names-it-has to make sure it's not damaged. If it is, it may not be getting a solid seal to do a full blowback.

If you got the G&G metal slide/outer barrel set, you will be running into problems for a long while. I installed one, spent hours trying to get it to cycle properly, fine tuning with a diamond file didn't do much (I got it cycle fine for a coupe mag, but the owner got it back and had constant problems with it......... case in point, because I tend to know what I am doing, airsoft guns fear me and bend to my will) anything and the owner is selling the kit and buying another brand. If the slide feels like fine metal sandpaper, and outer barrel comes with a threaded supressor adaptor, it's most likely G&G. It's cast metal, not like the other kits that are milled out of solid aluminum bar stock and work great out of the box.
