Lost Spring

Hi All,

Well, almost completely finished my Upgrade. Everything's gone great, except when I was taking the Hopup apart, I lost a small spring somewhere in the room, and I doubt I have any hope of finding it again.

I'm not entirely sure what the part the spring holds is called. It's not the bucking, but it holds down a part inside the barrel on the Gearbox side of the hopup unit. The spring was about a 1/2" long (1.3cm) and maybe 1/8" or 3/16" wide (2-5mm)

Anybody got one of these springs laying around? Perhaps from an old TM hopup unit? I'd much rather not have to order it from TM if I dont have to.

Thanks.

Perhaps cut down the spring from a Bic mechanical pencil? Sounds about the right size.

hopefully you havn't cleaned your house since then but I have shot springs across the room and thought of things long gone a few times. Get a powerfull magnet or a big magnet strip and sweep the whole room. That's how I find any little lost bits and pieces.

Next time, open the mechbox and anything else inside a large clear plastic bag.
