TM MP5 SD6 Issue.
As of right now, after maybe... a half dozen mags worth (low cap) and the gun started to make a higher pitch noice when firing, the same soeing machine noise though. It got jammed, my brother (his gun) pulled the trigger about a dozen more times not knowing why the gun wasn't shooting, it went from a slightly higher pitch noise to what can only be described as spinning gears not catching anything *shrugs*. So I took it from him and unjammed the BB in the barrel still, and had him try it again, still the same spinning noise.
What does this mean? :S I'm afraid its something quite bad, but being so new to the sport I've never really run into a problem myself.

Have you tried adjusting the "motor-adjustment screw"?
Its located underneath the pistol grip (at least on my TM M1A1), and I believe its purpose is to adjust the positioning of the motor, such that it connects with the gears? Can anyone else confirm this? |

Sounds like your motor isn't meshing with the gears properly anymore. Usually I'd say adjust the screw on the bottom of the grip until it sounds right, but if you've run it that much you might have messed up your motor pinion gear or your bevel gear, so just take it to someone who knows what they're doing.

First part sounds like your grip/motor plate had been coming loose, causing the high pitched whining. Second part of it, you blew the ass (last tooth) off the piston. Most likely the latter since that is what you experienced, gears going fine but no piston movement. Since it's a TM, I'd say buy a new piston and put your stock piston head on it. If it was a CA gun, then buy a new head to go with your new piston (CA piston heads are shiite on aftermarket pistons).
Two weeks ago I fixed a TM G36C with the longer K front end and outer barrel (caused the entire barrel to fill with BBs, all the way back to the nozzle), it had plugged up with BBs about 1" ahead of the end of th einner barrel and caused the ass to shear off the piston. All it did was spin motor and gears, but no piston noise. Opened it up, ass was ripped off the piston, replaced the piston with a Guarder, and the owner put in a longer inner barrel, was back in business no problem. Thank you so very much guys, it was a lose plate. I was ready to take it to a real tech but figured we'd give it a go with the plate... perfect. Thank you so much.
