Semi does full auto? Why?
Hi guys, I just picked up my first AEG less then a month ago, its a TM M4A1 (new type) and works pretty well as far as I'm concerned exept for one thing. Say maybe 10-20% of the time (tops) when I'm on semi and pull the trigger it doesn't limit to one shot, its the exact same as full auto. Now it generally works fine if I click to full and then back to semi, then it'll shoot the one shot as its suppose to. My question was is that normal or anything i can do to prevent it or fix that issue? Obviously its not a big deal... but I don't think I should have the problem at all.
Thanks in advance. Kingpin

its fairly normal, can do it on any of my aegs if i want to on purpose, just pull the trigger quickly all the way back, that should prevent it in semi.

I have never seen that before. Is it a TM specific issue?

Alright thanks guys. It really didn't bother me that much, but I figured I should post about it now before I found out the hard way that perhaps it was the begining of a bigger problem to come.

Did you read the trouble shooting section of the manual?
Problem: imposible semi-auto firing Cause: Deviation in gear timing solution: set to semi after firing 5 - 10 rounds in full auto. Cause: Insufficient battery power Solution: Charge battery Cause: Poor electrical connection. Solution: Return to manufacturer for maintenance. (Canadian solution: Itsa problem with the selector switch, get and instal new one.)
