Modded TM based AK not feeding
Ok guys, I'm working my way through this one but it seems to have finally gotten the better of me. The gun.
Based on a TM AK47 full stock. Mods that I think may be affecting things. G&P metal body and front set Pro Win Hop up unit, filed and drilled out to FINALLY fit properly. A Plus hop up rubber Stock TM inner barrel (for now) TM V3 gearbox shell with mostly Lonex Internals (Piston, Piston Head, Cylinder head, Nozzle). Stock TM gears and tappet plate. BTC Chimera Fet So I finally have this thing all together, and it won't feed. I originally had a maple leaf bucking in there, but the lips were protruding way into the feeding chamber, so I thought that was definitely the culprit. I changed the bucking out for an A Plus, and it passed the drop test with minimal effort to get the BB in to the chamber. So gun goes back tother, test fire and still nothing. So is it possible that the Lonex nozzle is a touch too long for the build? Is it possible to file it down, or just go back to the TM nozzle and give that a go. Thanks in advance for any advice. |
