TM/ARMY Glock Magazines Leaking Near Fill Valve

The two magazines that I have (TM and ARMY) are leaking gas near the fill valve, every time I try fill the magazine. Both of the mags are expelling enough gas, to a point where I can only get 1 or 1/2 a shots off per mag. Since its the fill valve that is leaking, I guess one of the O-rings is shriveled inside the valve.
I am probably going to take out the valve and inspect it. However, before I do this, does anyone have any experience with this problem?

A work around that can help is some Teflon tape on the nozzle of the fill adapter or green gas can.
There is aftermarket fill valves and other rings to fix this issue as well.
