King Arms M4 Bolt Carrier Plate Rubbing Hard
I have a King Arms M4A1, and the silver plate that covers my hop up has been acting up. I suspect it is bent slightly out of shape, as it is very difficult to pull back when I pull back the charging handle. It rubs very hard, so much that the little spring that normally returns it to its closed position is not able to pull it back when I hit the bolt release.
This is the piece I am talking about: I would simply remove it, but the dust cover does not function without it. And Ideas how to bend it back to shape? |

Remove it, swap the spring on the dust cover so it forces it closed instead of open, and just manually open it while you adjust your hop up.
You'll go crazy trying to bend the stupid fake bolt back into shape.

That's a pretty good idea, I'll try it. |

Just make sure you remove the little spring loaded peg on the dust cover, too, or else it'll click closed and you won't be able to get it open again.
It's what I do for most of my AR variants. Bolt catch is fun I guess, but honestly it's an AEG and I'd rather be able to disassemble/reassemble them with fewer parts rather than have the little click noise of a fake bolt.

It probably just missed the rail. KA mock bolts are terrible.
