GGB Pistols: Aluminum Nozzle VS Plastic Nozzle?
Hey guys,
did some quick searches to try and find some info on this subject, but it didn't seem to come up with this exact questions (some on GBBR's, some on normal AEG nozzles and such, but not this exactly). If someone has better search abilities than myself, please toss me a link. I currently own a very nice KJ G19 fully upgraded for the most part. It does have an aftermarket nozzle installed (Guarder IIRC). It functions great on all matters, for reference. I was wondering what the pros and cons would be to installing an Aluminum nozzle instead for performance purposes. It will probably give more kick, but for efficiency and longevity; is it even worth it? This will be my go to pistol for a very long time as I love the look and feel of it, so I want to make sure that it has the best of the best of everything. Any light on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Here is the aluminum nozzle I am looking at: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/uac-alumi...l#.VSWHhtzF_eC (Note that I have a Guns Modify Light Weight BBU for a TM G17 installed as it is compatible, so that is why the nozzle says G17) Cheers, Flarebrass |

propane freezes stuff as it expands. Aluminum is a good conductor and will form ice deposits and possibly cause frost burn to O-rings.
Keep in mind it's also a piece of metal that will be slamming BBs into your barrel. There's a reason why all GBBRs and pistols use and changed over to plastic nozzles. |
