Hi-Capa 5.1 Left Thumb Safety Problem! (Picture Intensive)

I'm currently modifying my Hi-Capa 5.1 parts from a TM Hi-Capa 5.1 as base with
-Shooters Design STI Custom Shop 6.0 LDC Metal Slide for Hi-Capa 5.1 (Silver)
-Shooters Design CNC Chassis 6 inch Limited STI 2011 for Marui Hi-Capa (Silver)
-Shooters Design Steel Kimber .45 ACP Chamber for Hi-Capa 5.1 (Silver)
-Shooters Design 6 Inch Steel Outer Barrel for Marui Hi-Capa 5.1
-Shooters Design 6 inch Stainless Steel Guide Rod for Marui Hi-Capa
-PDI 6 inch Precision Inner Barrel
-UAC Ultra Lightweight Blowback Housing
The rest of the components are from my TM Hi-Capa 5.1, and everything has been well lubed up.

Currently I've been having slide problems, front sight installation problems and left thumb safety problems. However the first two don't really need to be addressed I think, since thorough investigation has led me to believe that they do require some sanding.
The thumb safety is currently stuck, and I'm unable to remove it from the frame since it's lowered. I've attempted to remove it with the hammer cocked, and without.
I've found

Did you try using a very small screw driver to depress the safety detent? I've worked on old hi capas where the detent goes to far into the safety causing it to be jammed into place.

Issue is not with the detent blocking, its with the shooters design frame.
I have had the same issue when building my racegun, on a SD frame.
The thumb safety gets so stuck it won't move up or move down without significant force.
Or keep wiggling it with the hammer in the up-right position.

It's easier to remove it with the grip installed and hammer locking in position properly. So try that.

The gun has now been fully constructed, however the problem with the thumb safety still isn't resolved. I'm able to move the thumb safety once I use a small tool to push the spring plunger back, but it still gets stuck when I flip it down.
I've concluded that the problem be related to my thumb safety, or the shooters design frame, as I replaced the spring plunger with a Nineball spring plunger set therefore it shouldn't be the fault of the safety plunger.

-Nineball Spring Plunger
-150% Shooters Design Recoil Spring & Hammer spring

My gun also doesn't cycle fully, however I think that's just because the slide tends to get stuck on the frame. I think after I shoot it a couple hundred times, it should be fine.


It also looks pretty worn out, but that's just cause I'm reusing TM Hi-capa parts.

Yup, the plunger will never be the problem with the safety not moving freely.
