Wingun Revolver Problem
Hey guys, just purchased a used wingun revolver, but I just realized the little hook part that cycles the cylinder is made of shitty pot metal and worn out to the point where it won't cycle anymore...
Can anyone help me with a solution? Any machinist or people with access to one? Thanks. |

Open the cylinder and hammer up, that little arm will come out and locked, you will see the top end triangle is a bit round, should be flat to be fictional, use a small file to slowly flatten it, not too much, then try it, if not good enough then file a bit more. If worn out too much, then may not function anymore. I did it and still working good. Good luck.

Filing the TOP. Right now the tip end on the top of this arm worn out and look like round. When you take a close look inside the arm is not flat so when the arm pushing up, it's slipping out of the cylinder. Since the cylinder IS LOCKED by the moving inner front barrel on every shot, so the arm gets excessive force on the front end tip, time to time it worn out and look like round that's making it non functioning. FLATTENING it will bring it back alive, but if worn out too much , you may have to buy another gun.
Side note: if you don't game it, don't just dry firing by pulling trigger , it will shorten the live of the arm. That's why I have three of them and planning to buy the fourth one! LOL Last edited by N_Force; August 10th, 2014 at 14:35.. |
