Unable to lower fps

Hey docs, thanks for taking your time to look at this. My specs are below-

King Arms P90
Stock barrel 247mm
Stock hop up

Stock Motor
Stock Cylinder and Piston (piston has 1 metal tooth, and the 2nd tooth from the back removed)
Sorbo Pad
Ball Bearing Spring Guide
SHS 13:1 High Speed Gears
S90+ Modify Spring
GDS-4005 Mosfet
7.4 2S Lipo w/ Deans

I have a CQB game this weekend and I'm totally confused why my gun is shooting 390fps with 0.2s. Would you guys know what the problem is, im stumped. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Your best bet would be to buy another spring as your current one may have been mis-labeled as an m90. You can also cut down the existing spring by a coil or two but I wouldn't really advise it without prior experience.

Definitely have a mislabeled spring in there. It's less common than it used to be, but it still happens. Especially when manufacturers have no way to tell their own springs apart

I'm pretty sure its a M90+. I've used this spring before, and few months ago, before the mosfet sorbopad and gears I was chron'ng at 330ish fps. But I'll definitely buy another M90 tomorrow and I'll report back! Thanks!

Did u put the bearing spring guide in the same time u did the other mods? Cause the bearing will increase the tension on the spring thus raising fps tho i doubt by 60. Also is the sorbo on the piston head or ccylender head cause if the piston head had ports on it and u covered it with the pad there will be more air compression also raising fps. May need an even lighter spring..

bearing spring guide 5-10fps at the most
If the sorbo was on the piston head, you would get ZERO compression, because the piston needs those ports to push the O-ring to seal against the cylinder.

Problem solved! It must've been mislabelled and my gun may have had a leak somewhere before. I tried a 110 and I was getting the expected fps. I'll just buy a M90 tomorrow. Thanks for the tips guys, never expected the springs to be mislabelled :P

The King Arms P90 does have a quick change spring gearbox, it might be that the gearbox's spring guide was tightened too much, but it seems you have solved your problem which is good.

Yup all the King Arms P90s are. They just never advertised it.
