This is actually pretty common from what I gather. I've been lucky enough to not have experienced this yet. I seem to remember a thread on this site about shaving the rear of your magazine feed lips to accommodate the movement left and right your nozzle has. On my own mags I've noticed slight wear on the lips where the nozzle's loading arm contacted the sides instead of smoothly travelling through to the bb.

I also broke one.
But found the reason: Don't over fill your mags. Fill until full, then remove a BB. The feed lip does not break when loading the BB, it breaks when inserting a full mag on a closed bolt. Ran well over 3k rounds on the last one and no sign of breakage or wear at all. And I did not do the feed lips mod. |
