Accident Accident Accident!
Was trying to configure my secondary hop up unit in my gun and it kept miss-feeding to the point that it jammed. Now after a while the gun stop firing completely and all I could smell was burning something. After some disassembly I found out that my spring guide came apart.
Don't know if it is suppose to do that (come apart) but it won't screw back together so looks like I am off to get some new parts. :banghead: |

It does come appart, that is why there usually is some thread lock on it.
but that small screw is not part of this assembly... check your piston head maybe. |

Screw was from the gearbox shell*
Yeah I noticed the thread on both items but it doesn't seem to want to screw back together. Looks like I'm going to Airsoft Parts |

If it unscrewed there is no reason it shouldnt screw back on.

In any case its a $9 part so may as well have a spare anyways. Just a thought did you try to screw it in counter clockwise? Sometimes stuff is made reverse thread

Went to Airsoft Parts to pick me up a new spring guide a day later. However I did try to screw it back on with no luck (both counter and clockwise) oh well.
