Possible Causes of Misfeeding
I did a search on this and found some possibly relevant information, but I figured I'd ask anyway. So what are some commons issues that might cause an AEG misfeeding?
Initially, I heard that maybe my magazine springs were weak. On all my magazines. The reasoning was that I had them all fully loaded for about two weeks before a game, which is where I first discovered the feeding issue. The mags have now sat for a half year now, so I imagined that the spring strength may or may not have reverted. I tested the gun again today, and still nothing. So now I think it might have something to do with the hop up? What are the odds of six magazines all having weakened springs permanently because of storage? So I tested out the hop up on max, and hop up completely off. Still nothing. Another reason I think the magazines aren't at fault is because everytime I eject the magazines, two or three BBs fall out of the gun.

fill the mag up and pull the retainer... if the BBs shoot out, then you don't have an issue with spring strength... IF they come out like rabbit shits, then the springs are weak or the BBs are getting caught on each other so they stick/jam in the mag tube.
beyond that, it could be how the mag sits in the magwell. If you confirm the BBs have good pressure, then load the mag, push it forward in the magwell and shoot, pull it backwards, push it upwards... if none of these work, then it could be your hopup/nozzle. Try another mag outside your sample. Beyond bad mag fit, there are a number of hop op or nozzle issues that could be causing a feed problem, if your gun was worked on recently... a nozzle that sits too far forward or is too long will not feed a BB properly. Is it just dry firing? Is it making a weird noise when you try to feed it? |

I tried pushing the mag forward, backwards, and I even turned the gun upside down to try and force it to feed.Nothing came out. This leads me to believe that there's some sort of alignment issue, since the BBs are still falling out of the magwell when I eject each magazine.
As for testing the spring strength, I actually used that retainer button to eject all the BBs back into a bag after the testing failure, so it's probably not an issue with the magazines. The gun dry fires when I pull the trigger. It sounds like it should be shooting something, but obviously nothing comes out. As far as I can tell, it's making a normal AEG whiny-noise.

First i'm no gun doctor, does it ever shoot? I had an AEG that sounded correct but never shot a BB, when i took it apart the tappet plate was broke so not pulling the nozzle back to let bb's into the hop up

There can be a number of reasons for the misfeeding issue. The most common culprits I found are the hop up unit, mags, or BBs. Change one of a combination of the 3 and you can usually resolve the issue.

Or tappet plate.
If it's broken or if the spring is missing, it won't retract fully/at all and won't load any BB. Put your gun down on a table and look in the hop up feed tube when shoothing. Do you see the nozzle retracting and moving foward with every shot?

If I pop open where the dust cover thing, I can see it move everytime the trigger is moved. Whether or not it's moving enough, I'm not sure. Should I be looking at the gun firing without a magazine in, from the magwell up?

Okay, just checked. I don't see anything moving on the bottom of the gun, but I definitly see it through the dust cover. Should the nozzle be perfectly straight? It doesn't seem that way to me.
The nozzle also looks like it's not quite "long" enough. EDIT, nevermind. It looks like this works in REVERSE of the AEG diagram I'm looking at. The nozzle moves forward with every pull of the trigger, rather then in reverse.
