Need Help with SCOM DD M4
Ive got a Daniel Defence M4 by SOCOM Gear that Id like to switch out the spring on, but I cant seem to figure out how to remove the thing. The gun breaks down very easily for getting to the hop-up and barrel and such, so I feel like Im missing something. I cant find any schematics online however.
Can someone in the Woodstock area take a look at it or any Doc send me something to help out? Thanks. |

Are you trying to separate the gearbox from the lower receiver?

There are screws in the handguard that go into the mechbox.

I think the main problem is that the bolt release has a bar that goes under the mechbox, it's removing that I think that is the problem. I think he wants to know how to get that little bastard out LOL

Thanks guys I got it figured out. Thanks for the tips from a gun-doc at a local game I ran into, I was pointed in the right direction.
There were two screws under the gearbox in the grip, a body pin over the trigger, the main pin over the grip, and had to remove the big screw kingpin inside the stock before the mechbox would come out. It was easier than it sounds, but without doing all of that I wasnt getting anywhere. The biggest pain is the smallest pin over the trigger on the lower receiver. Thanks for the help guys. |
