I bought about 2 years ago a HK416 from there ( VK416, JG rebrand) , it was accurate, I can't say how accurate since I don't remember everything, but still, it's a damn good buy for starters, the only downside is that the gearbox, or the "Bearbox" as we called it wasn't too easy to open/close, it was like having banana peels all over the box ... if you open it, be sure there's someone who works in these things with you. when I made it onto the chrono with the original spring, it made 415 FPS with .20g's, stick an M110 spring and you'll get 390 , just perfect. Shipping was quick, customer service is very good, you are green light to buy.
and oh,Make it clear: VA M4A1 = JG M4A1 with markings on the clear body Last edited by Cactus-man; May 28th, 2011 at 18:55.. |

oh I'm sorry lol i was a bit confused for a minute... but the va m4a1 is the same as the techfast m4a1 i'm pretty sure... which is just a jg with a clear lower receiver. the fact its clear doesn't really bother me since ill probably end up painting the gun a woodland camo. i was just curious as to the durability of the plastic since ive ever only shot my friends echo 1 full metal AEG's or crappy 50$ walmart guns.

I don't believe Techfast is a JG rebrand. I had one on the bench last week and it looked nothing like a JG. If it is, it's a Gen 1 gearbox with a bunch of shit. Not one shim was found, plastic bushing were painted and it made it almost impossible to shim properly. One of the worst gearbox I've ever worked on other than wallyworld's guns. It's not Frank's fault for this but save your money or get something better from VA.

I used to be a large proponent of clones, until I started making more money and experienced the mid-high end guns (TM, G&G, VFC etc). Although clones are getting better, I've decided I don't want to deal with pot metal (pottier?) and breaking guns. Then again I like to mod my guns a lot..

Why not get out a few games and rent some guns for a season instead? That way you still save up and get a taste of the sport? Plus you get to try out different guns and pick your favourite
