Angry KWA M93RII Semi Auto Problem

Hello all!

First post here on ASC, although I have been lurking for a bit.

I have a KWA M93R NS2 that I bought a month or so ago. Initially when I used it the burst, auto and semi functions worked good. Only issue I had then was when on semi the slide would occasionally stick. I thought nothing much of it and continued to use/clean/lube the gun for a few more skirmishes.

Now the gun wont work on semi-auto. When I select semi auto it shoots full auto. No amount of wiggling, jiggling, or cursing changes anything. I once again thoroughly cleaned, lubed, and test fired and same thing happened. When field stripping I notice no abnormal wear or marks so i'm not quite sure where to go from here.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Take a look on KwaUsa's forum, others had issue of the same order, you might find some answers there

Thanks!

Looked around their forums and couldn't find any specific solutions. Got ahold of their customer service though.

You're welcome, and good luck

A piece of advice: make sure you have enough lube between the slide and loading nozzle (part #6) or the nozzle will eventally split in half, loke it did for many of us.

Couldn't use mine at any games yet because of this, the parts are hard to get by

Update:

Talked to KWA tech support and by the looks of it it is the result of the trigger bar (part #16) getting worn down due to faulty design. They have remedied this by replacing it with a more hefty metal one and this part should be available to the public shortly.

Hope this helps others as well.

Does your slide stick even slightly on semi auto? If so it might have the same problem in the future as mine does now....
