Can I get a black airsoft gun shipped from china without getting it confiscated? Or does it have to be clear?

Short answer.. NO, YOU cannot import all metal airsoft guns as an individual legally.
Full metal guns, however, ARE legally available in Canada. Get age verified, read the faqs.

I can get a black chinese airsoft gun shipped to me.
Just has to be imported by a trusty retailer here and then sold to me. Pretty fuckin' easy process if you ask me. No headaches involved too. You can go ahead and buy from china if you really want, just there is a very good chance that you'll have it consfiscated at the border and you'll lose the money you used to buy it. Either that, your you can listen to us, get verified here (Unless you're an impatient 14 year old, which we're used to) and buy through the classifieds. Its well worth it dude, there is no real reason to avoid verification here. |

It doesn't matter about the customs of the country of origin, its about canadian customs, doesn't matter where its from, the moment customs checks ur shit, they will confiscate it if its a gun

It's not that easy... the exporter in China would have to bribe their export control officials in order to allow the gun to leave China, and even still, there is the risk for their business to be shut down. Manufacture, sales, and ownership of airsoft guns is prohibited in China. Only certain businesses (wargame clubs/fields, for example) get an exemption for ownership and use, but they still can not manufacture nor export legally.

Oh wow, I didn't know it was like that. So I guess there is a bit of sweat in that regard. But when it comes to me buying from a retailer, there isn't really much to worry about. I was just making more of an example of that they're simply available in the classifieds.
