SCAR new mags -> different handling in automatic mode

Hellow!!

after a long time I finally received propane so I can shoot my Scar

meanwhile I have changed my lower receiver, but when I shoot it, after each shot, the trigger doesnt return to the firing position.
I have to manually push the trigger forward so I can shoot....

The trigger assembly is installed like it should...
So are there some heads up I gotta know to fix this?

thx!
Riko

edit: this problem has been fixed, but now I have a new small issue...
with my new mags, I have to sometimes switch back to semi while in full automatic because the hammer gets catched by the sear, somehow with those new mags, the sear doesnt release the hammer, but with the old stock magazine I dont have that problem at all in full auto, it fires like it should.

why is that?

nope, its all good installed....its a brand new 2nd ratech hammer (unfiled)

So I decided to install my first ra tech hammer wich I filed down at the part that is held down by the disconnecter, and the trigger still gets stuck behind, but not always

so tomorrow I am gonna reinstall my original old stock hammer and see if it shoots again.
But the issue and the reason why I replaced that hammer was because the retainer pin always falls of and thus the roller is not held in place.
So I have superglued the retainer pin, and I just hope it will hold.

All I know is there aren't any aftermarket hammers-disconnecters and triggers for the WE Scar....wich is unfortunate since the stock hammer especially is crap.

this is a very common problem for all gen 3 we m4 series guns all you have to do is break in the parts so they mate properly in otherwords shot the gun alot on full auto or you can file the parts down slightly and try again, personaly if you dont feel safe filing shoot the gun about 10-20 magson full auto and she normally clears herself up

hmm its late now here, so I am not gonna shoot now, but first think tomorow.
but I have found this: http://gasguns.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3105

person had same problem:
When set in semi mode, the gun is able to fire one shot then the trigger gets stuck. In order to fire the next shot, I'll have to push the trigger forward and hear a "click" sound. This problem reoccurs after each round fired in semi mode, but does not occur in full auto mode.

but I also seem to have the problem in auto mode...

So tomorow I will adjust those springs and see if if helps.

I had the same issue. Try taking the trigger mechanism apart completely and re-assembling first before you try mods.

Mine was just tight and needed to be broken in.

well I ended up replacing all 3 hammers, 2 ratech ones and my stock.

None of em made my scar work good.
Even when I used the stock, because I superglued the roller onto the hammer => bad idea, cause the bolt wont return...

So I tried to apply super glue very carefully on the retainer pin only so the roller can roll.
And problem is solved.

However, with my 2 new magazines, I see that the hammer is catched by the sear in full auto.
So I have to return to semi, than to auto and than I can fire.
With my original mag I do not have this problem.

I find this strange since the magazine has nothing to do with the hammer-sear operation.
So who does that happen with new mags?

so it's caught by the full-auto sear at the back, not the semi-auto disconnector? the mag might be getting in the way of the sear release arm at the front, that's the only thing i can think of... if it's only doing one shot in auto

well, I assume the hammer gets stuck by the sear, because when I switch to semi auto, I hear the click!
If I switch it again to full auto than I can fire.

But I can only fire a few shots in full auto, so more than 1 shot.
So after some shots in full auto, I cant fire....
(than I repeat my ritual: go to semi auto, go to full auto and shoot)

I dont have this issue with my original mag I got with my scar.
The new mags I got seperate, but I assume its also for Scar even tho the description said M4. (bought them at WGC)
Some websites say M4/Scar. Some websites only say M4.
But they look the same, so I hope its not an issue per se.

To answer your remark, the sear release arm doesnt reach that far to the magazine, so its still seems to be a mysterie why with one mag it works fine and with the 2 new ones not so...
Maybe it has something to do with the hardness of the kick? since the bolt is the piece that releases the sear arm and with the new mag the kick might be softer some how thus not moving the sear arm?
The new mags sit much more tight than the old one, I almost really have to slap the new mags into the gun

2 round bursts mean the front of the trigger is worn down and not catching the hammer when the disconnector slips off the hammer notch...

I looked at the trigger asm again, with regards to the bolt carrier... there's a small square on the underside of the carrier that tweaks the full-auto sear arm when it returns to the forward position.... there might be an issue with the full return of the carrier... the mag may be stopping the carrier too early

hmm, can you perhaps show on a picture what part of the trigger I should look at and perhaps notice the worn bit?

thx!
