Help for new players

As a member of F.I.S.T. I wanted to inform all players that we will soon have our webpage up and running. We will be extending a helping hand to all newer players who have questions, we will answer them to the best of our abilities. For the time being you can submit questions to us via email, please keep this strictly airsoft, anyone who sends us spam or any non airsoft related questions will be blocked, we're enforcing a no bs policy. We're going out of our way to help those who seek it within the community so please to soil it by sending spam or other useless emails, thanks.

Play hard, play fair.

Sebastien, Team F.I.S.T.

Uhm, I think thats what this "Newbie Tank" section of ASC is for.

And I also think more people will ask on this website, than yours.

For some, this place is too full of asshole flamers and there should be a place where they can ask their questions without any fear of ridicule

Baha. Those little boys and girls can just come to my house then. I can teach them the ways of "airsoft" and how it should be used in "legal" ways.

Plus, I can teach some of them to even lubricate magazines.

PS: I realized after my dirty joke, that the organization is called "FIST". LOL

A guy sets up a website design to help new people play airsoft? As long as it's not full of bullshit what's wrong with that?

Well, it seems stupid to go advertising the website on a more credible websites newbie tank.

Atleast I think it does.

Having been introduced to airsoft by/playing along side the F.I.S.T. guys and befriending a few of them.. I think this is a great idea seb! I also encourage any new player to the sport, that is serious about getting involved, to definitly look these guys up and ask as many questions as possible. They are very knowledgeable, have quite a few years of experience combined and are always happy to help.

Is there anything else we can call them?

Like I dont wanna tell my parents "Hey, I'm going to a fist training today!"

Joking aside: I bet they'd probably do some newbies some good. As it is best to get multiple opinions when making decisions.

The reason we're doing this is to post the events that we're hosting as well as to give a little more light to newer players, I've seen a few posts that are just brutal, I keep saying that please remember that we all started as newbies, we've all had help in this sport, some experiences have been more fruitful than others but that shouldn't poo poo others that want to help new players.

BTW F.I.S.T. stands for Fast Insertion Specialist Team, and come on guys I've seen team names that are way sillier than our acronym.

The more resources for newer players the better as I see it.

Look forward to seeing the site when it's ready and as a Barrie ex pat, hopefully I can get up there to meet some of you guys.

Cheers!
