Availability of games in Toronto?

Hello,

Been lurking for a bit prior to purchasing my first AEG, and looking to start airsoft this spring in the GTA...

Whats the general availability of games in Toronto? Are there usually enough open outdoor games going on each weekend for example, that a typical person can get in on?

Just want to make sure before I drop real $ on equipment...

Come spring time you might find yourself having to choose which game to attend. Toronto is very lively for airsoft come the warmer month, but thats not to say winter is a dead time. Start getting your kit going now so that come spring time you will have most of what you need, if not everything. And dont worry too much about the cash being dropped because the great thing about airsoft is, as long as you take care of your gear and guns they do not lose residual value and you can sell it off to make your money back, maybe with a bit of a loss.

Like has been advised look into getting AV'ed (Age Verified, look up the FAQ regarding this for any questions you have) and start heading out to games even if your not playing. People will be more than happy to help you out with any questions you have, and learning in person is much more valuable than online. You might even be able to get a hold of someone willing to rent you a gun and you might be able to pop your cherry sooner than you think. Im unsure if the Events section is blocked for you since your not AV'ed, but if not check that out and you will see just how often games happen.

Generally, there is 2-3 games a weekend:
CQB paintball, Defcon paintball, and TTAC3 all run weekly, or bi-monthly games.

The latter of which I recommend you go to this Friday, because the host, Brian, can age Age Verify you, granting access to the ASC gun retailers. The classifieds where you can buy second hand.

It's worth to take the time to communicate information in a way you want to be represented. That, and new guys will get confused and make up information, and mix up facts.
