Exactly. Movies don't generally protray the world as it would actually look becasue it would either set the wrong tone or the lighting would be so horrid you would miss the point of the scene from all the squinting.
Kind of like the audio issue you get when someone mixes the sound wrong. You have to turn up the volume when the leads are talking then get fucking deafened when the bombs go off
