i would put my money on this being a motor height issue.
sometimes motors will lock up, even if its worked at that height before you may have to loosen it off quarter turns and put the trigger after each turn until it fires.
once i play with the motor height until it shoots i find a happy medium where it doesnt sound grindy, but doesnt seemed strained.
