I don't particularly see what the problem is. You were informed that the gun had trouble, and still made the trade. You could have contacted huang before you made the trade to ensure he had the part or that the parts were available. You also could have found the post you provided before you traded.

When buying a used gun you should always try before you buy, otherwise it's a gamble for what you're paying for. Lesson learned.

EDIT: Also, have you contacted him about this?
