As Lerch and the other have said, CF pers do no wear unit patches in the field. Something like that Regimental tab you posted is not ever worn in the field; only on certain semi-formal uniforms (which you wouldn't be re-creating for airsoft, right?).

Canadian troops in the field wear:
National flag (green or brown)
Name tape
Rank insignia
IR patch (black and white rectangle; worn in Afghanistan)
ISAF badge (in Afghanistan; or UN patch if on a UN op)

That's it. As said above, there are Regimental cap badges, but those are not worn in the field (we don't even pack 'em).

You might be thinking of US or UK forces, who wear Regimental badges on their sleeves ....
