I have a WA 92FS. I have used propane in it with no issues. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it's safe either. Mine is a fairly rare model and it's a collection piece (stainless model with white grips), so I don't use it often.
I did install a stiffer recoil spring in it (old spring from my KJW M9) so that it would absorb more of the shock of propane use, however, I still don't trust it completely. I tend to use mostly duster with a small shot of propane to give it some extra power. Works very well, but it seems that the combination of the 2 gasses gives less gas mileage. I can barely squeeze off a full mag using the mixed gas, whereas I can do 2 mags per fill on propane, and about 1.5 on duster.
