I've gamed my m733 during heavy rain, running an exterior mounted (taped on) 9.6v battery, with no problems at all. Just wipe down anywhere water could trickle in and sit. If you have any carry handle screws or scope ring screws; unscrew, dry and dust with some silicon spray.
