Hey folks, so my gun seized up a a while ago and I just finally got to cracking it open the other night. Turns out some screw came lose in the piston and had lodged itself in the spring causing it to jam. After removing the screw and putting it all back together. Myself and Styrak were both a little curious to what this part was.
After we had the mechbox reassembled this little piece
fell out of the front of my mechbox by the air nozel. We tried and we looked but we could not for the life of us figure out where it goes or even what its function is. The part itself does not appear to be snapped off of anything, its solid and smooth and shows no sign that it is broken.
My M4 usually fires a vey consistent 320. But after we put it back together its firing well below 300. Im not sure if there is a air leak somewhere or what but thats not what Im posting for, I need peoples input on what this part maybe and where it came from.
