Ok, did the first modification. As you can see in the above pics, the extra webbing on the chest rig just hangs as there is no way to secure it. I was going to just tape it up with some gun tape, until I remembered my Camelbak Talon has an interesting method of dealing with the extra straps if you don't want to cut them or tape them up. I carefully cut the bartack that secures the folded ends of the webbing and sewed in 2" of velcro, facing opposite directions, so you can roll the excess webbing up and just wrap it to itself.
