Clean manufacturing techniques are very important in Lion batteries. All it takes is contamination from a metal burr or a faulty self protection circuit to cause a bad failure. I'd put more faith in an older battery design from an established manufacturer than anything cutting edge from a new manufacturer.
Well said Carl.

I'd stick to technology which has been around for awhile/years. People just recently started to have Li-po packs in their RC car. Before it was all about the NI-CD and NI-MH.
I will wait awhile for the Li-Po's to become popular and have airsoft companies to adapt to the technology. Such as TM, Intellect Brothers.

Or maybe! Carl this could be your new project! In selling Li-po battery packs for our airsoft guns! :-D
