I've often thought multicam was too light as well, but since I decided to go from cadpat (which I KNOW how to use very well, and always take routes or position myself in areas that cadpat works best) to multicam, it'll be something new for me to learn. But since my first game this year I've been paying attention to places I play with an eye for MC, and noticed some things. First game this year for me, was April 1st, not much foliage around, and looking through trees in the brush we play, you could see guys legs moving against a light backdrop. MC would eliminate that rather well. Played a night game (3/4 moon) a few months back, as it got cooler I put on my multicam smock over my cadpat, and noticed I could see guys wearing cadpat and woodland, at a distance, looking like black blobs moving around. My team noticed just how well multicam works at night, the dark silhouette is eliminated, and multicam turns into various shades of grey, same as the surroundings. Game this Saturday will be my first one wearing full multicam, looking forward to it!
