double check your antireversal latch...if its on wrong, it will catch the gears and pop the fuse.
and make sure you put the wiring back the same way...if you switch wires, it will turn the gears the wrong way and catch the antireversal latch and pop a fuse.
also check the motor height placment, if its to tight or to loose that can cause the problems also.
