Like is said elsewhere, maybe solid enough, but not allowed on many fields for reasons other than just solidity. There's coverage, possible gaps, etc.
That is why paintball rated goggles are accepted everywhere. If your local place has insurance and rules that allow something else, go for it. But that does not work everywhere, and that's the problem.
