Slight necro thread - but unsure whether I should actually open a separate thread or not.
I am looking for a decent 60-70L pack. In the past, I've always managed with my Camelbak Tri-zip 35L pack on "dry" 24 hr games (which is enough to carry NODS and night-fighting tools, ammo, food, spare commo, batteries and some tools) but I have noticed that if I need to prepare for wet/cold weather I require at least another 20-30L for Goretex softshell top and bottom, fleece, underlayer, spare socks etc.
Have been eyeing something like the Pantac Forward Deployment pack (~60L), but anyone with experience with a better pack?
