Cant answer about the size, since few folks can even afford a real M3.
In general, the Marui are not exactly the same size as the real thing. (A tad smaller). And the frames are not metal, so adding stuff may break them.
The M3 does not have a lot of range, so a scope mount may be a waste.
I would suggest you go to a game and see an M3 up close. Bring a measuring tape and a digital camera. Then you'd get real data.
