I love my Arc'teryx knee pads. Not only because I'm a Arc'teryx whore, but because they are very confy. They are well designed and flex with your leg where needed. And they have this cool feature that prevent them from getting tangled in vegetation when walking in high grass or dense wooded erea.

For me, having a hard surface in front of the foam is essencial when you kneel on a sharp rock!
