I recently found this mod out from some machinist around here and I'm testing it on their older frames. The flange helps ALOT. Although, i used JB Weld to create a makeshift flange around the casing. I have to find a better one for it and somehown elongate the post a bit longer. I takes a lot of work dremminling out the front chaisis and the stock safety to fit the flange too. In fact, doing this mod will almost mainly put that safety out of commission. We had to switch out to the other Guarder safety just to make the frame more accommodating. So much work for such a measely little part...

I doubt Guarder would make a drastic changes to that screw casing. Most people bought in to the whole brass casing thing already. They have to re- design it completely in my opinion or use better material. THeir frames in general are lousy in dimensions as well. At least when compared to the stock one... A Guarder slide with the Guarder frame never cycles right unless certain modifications are made. I mean...That says alot about their products...
Let us know if you make any progress on that!

Most of their slides make the BBU sit so low that the hammer gets caught on the BBU slide so you can't even cycle it. So then you end up taking the entire gun apart to fix it. Bleh.

Unfortunately Brian, it is their 2013 frame. If you look closer, that is the faux bar pin as it is sitting up that high. The trigger pin isn't visible from that view. You should totally talk to Guns Modify for their new frames!
