I generally don't like Metal Propane adaptors (although they will last forever). Reason being is that the metal end could potentially "crush" and damage your mags fill valve o ring (arguably it's like a 25 cent piece or possibly even less but it's just the time and effort to replace it that's the problem IMO). If you drop or kick your propane tank with a metal adaptor then no problem but if you aren't careful with the plastic ones they'll break.
