So lately I have been upgrading breaking etc... my SRC T91
Some stuff I noticed....
Internals:
- Crappy cylinder, nozzle, and spring guide, changed those first... with ARS, Modify parts and super awesome TM Piston
- Reinforced 6mm gearbox... Eventually I'll get a 7mm replacement when my 6mm fails or something lol...
- Put in the AWS Rapter Mosfet and man... I love it
(Set up for Safe-Semi-Burst, Burst becomes full auto when trigger is continuously held down)
Externals:
- Front sight has some noticeable wobble, not sure if it's recent or it always did it, some teflon tape will fix it when I decide to take it off one day I guess...
- Dust cover screw that holds the latch snapped on me T.T so I can't close it anymore until I find a replacement screw. It is MUCH larger than a standard m4 aeg dust cover, so the extra one I had laying around actually doesn't fit.
- Charging handle spring sucks, replaced it with a nice one from Airsoftparts, and the charging handle itself wobbles too much, so replaced that too...
-My stock wobbled quite a bit, and I originally just used electrical tape to make it not wobble. However, when I put on my Madbull ACE lipo-tube, it did not wobble at all, actually really sturdy!
- Front sling kinda annoys me because unlike the WE T91, there is no spring holding it so I find it annoying T.T
- Front handguards are crap compared to the WE T91's too of course haha, but it's ok I guess...
- Dremelling on both the upper and lower receiver was required so it comes apart like G&Ps... T.T especially since I decided to rear wire it, extra dremelling was required for the wires, and the lipo tube to fit lol....
Filed down the front so my hopup can slide out... My personal preference at least...
Red parts are where I dremelled, it actually extended out more, but I filed it down before I decided to just dremell it lol...
