I just got an A&K Masada last week. For those still wishing to remove the orange flash hider, I dipped mine in boiling water for ~30 seconds and used vice grips to turn the flash hider off(CW Threads). The threads are a bit far down in the flash hider and are glued on, once it comes off just scrap the little bit of glue off the threads with a knife.
