I think that ATACS has plenty of possibilities, according to DCS who designed the pattern the color scheme can be altered to suit the environment. In its current colors, it suits urban/desert terrain pretty well. Remember that only a short time ago everyone thought that Multicam was a niche pattern before SOF started to wear it, so maybe ATACS will have the same beginnings.
