They are good for a couple reasons, slightly less powerful, light, and cost effective.

I am still working on that, but it is just going to be a lever mechanism with a rod attached for the firing pin, and a spring to keep it all aligned when not having the trigger pressed.

Just another quick thought what about remote controlled mortars. I was thinking this would help out the snipers potentially, cause you could have a bank of like 6 mortars or something you setup 30ish...

From my understanding claymores are about 190$. A 203 shell is about 25$ - 80$ and the basis of the trap is just some scrap...
