Always hated:

AK-47 (too much of a "tree branch" or "stick" look, too thin and long)

MP5 (mags are kind of unergonomic)

Famas (just looks abominable in bullpup form)

1) Buy any gun of your choice, then buy a ton of Antirobert Negoulets here (http://www.ascarmoury.com/product_info.php?products_id=478).

2) ???...

CA/TM G36C mag interchange

So the consensus seems to be that the CA G36 Commando/Compact is the better buy over the Marui - better built and mostly part-compatible, too. It seems I'm sold.

Well, generally, what you'll find at Walmart/Canadian Tire is NOT considered "airsoft". They're basically cheap and crappy toys that are useless for any real airsoft games. You'll also find Crossman...

First thing's first: I've read plenty of reviews. I've read plenty of posts on many forums, and I've done plenty of Googling. And the one thing that really confuses me is that everyone is giving...

So does this mean ASCA/showroom is on hiatus, as well, or it's just being taken care of by MadMax for the time being?

Regardless, have fun, Miles. :-D

Downvolting batteries... possible?

Couldn't find a thread on this. I'm obviously a newbie, but that's why I'm here. :-D

Would it be possible to downvolt say a 9.6V to an 8.4 by slicing off a cell and rewiring the connection? I've...

Wow. Great that you told me.

Would this (http://www.ascarmoury.com/product_info.php?cPath=4_107&products_id=20) be compatible/fittable?

So I plan to go down to ASCA brick/mortar when it opens/has the gun in stock, get verified, and pick it up. So here is my shopping...

Well I'm officially interested in AS now. Time to get serious and get a gun. :-D
