would this be legal
Just got to thinking when I'm in Europe this summer if I was to buy a full metal AEG could I bring the gun minus any restricted parts home with me then ship the metal receiver to someone with a firearms business licence. That way I’m not personally importing any restricted parts and as far as the government is concerned no law has been broken? This way I could possibly save a couple hundred bucks or even more if I was to get a PTW since it would be allot cheaper over there.
Thanks in advance for the help and sorry if this has been asked but I couldn’t think of what title it might have had believe me I tried |
do you have a close friend with a firearms importing licence? If so then why not just have him/her import a gun for you?

I don’t personally know someone with the licence so I would have to do some looking around. a friend of mine said he might be able to find a person but that’s a bit of a long shot. I just want to know if it is legal to do it that way but worse comes to worse I could just import all the non restricted parts and get someone to import me a receiver when I’m AV'd if it doesn’t get through the way I had hoped.

Someone sells PTWs in the classifieds for basically exchange rate + 100$, Ýour choice of gun and accessories.
It'll all be easier when you're AVed... |
Well, you're not 18 till summer, so you'll have to wait till them anyway.
