Which BB type do you prefer?

A simple poll to determine what BB the average airsoft player would use in thier AEG.

If you like, please post to your reason, the manufacture of the BB, your AEG that you use, and the FPS of your AEG will help in a further compilation of this information..

Thank you for your time and input,

Spa

None on that list. I use a .28g bb from BB Bastard in my PTW. Chrono? I think the last time we checked it was around 330fps with that setup and the blue cylinder

I'm a PTW user and these things tend to be a little picky about what brand of BB goes through them. So far I've had great success using BB Bastard and AE brand bb's.

My absolute favorite is the .28 made by BB Bastard but it is not on the POLL????

I use KSC Perfects (.20 & .25's ) in all my regular AEG's & GBB's.

The is just like asking who uses 300FPS, 380FPS and 450FPS.

MrEvolution April 17th, 2008 23:14

BB Bastard .20 cause theyre the only one ive tried because Jeroon has powers of persuasion.
Stock Thompson, 350FPS M4A1.

i failed to add the 0.28's. If you feel the need not to vote due to the lack of 0.28's, please elaborate on your experience with the 0.28's that you have used:P

Thank you.

Depends on your setup.. I run .28 and .30 because I run a sniper SPR... for standard aeg's stick to .25 for effective range, consistancy, and brush penetration.

Donster April 17th, 2008 23:44

out of all those, i would prefer the .30 in Bastard forms. great product and the .30 will give you better bush penetration than the .25

BBS April 17th, 2008 23:55

my guns aren't picky about the brand as long as its decent. i dont have tightbore barrels so extensively modified guns. all bbs are good for me haha. different weight of bbs serve different purposes. the best all round weight would be .25g

SPA: maybe tell the posters to indicate if their guns have any upgrades.

Pip April 17th, 2008 23:56

Voted .25 because they are my preference, but i've been using .2 for the last little while (bought a butt load and still going through them)

I've yet to try .28 or .30 but i'd love to just to see

Running on a stock TM M14 and a 350fps TM based M4A1

you know that isnt a bad idea, if I set up a RPK I would use those, maybe mix them in with normal BBs to have an inconsistancy and get a good spray effect.

Pip April 18th, 2008 00:17

mmm...nothing like the sweet taste of ripped and chewed bb's....not to mention the satisfaction of replacing your hop-up rubber every hundred rounds or so, just like doing a barrel change!

Endymion April 18th, 2008 00:24

Joking aside, I prefer 0.28g BB Bastards. Have used them in TM DE, TM 4.3, PTW MAX SCK, PTW MAX Factory QC, TM S-System... never had a problem. I find the 0.25g a little light for my preference, but then I'm a stickler for consistency - even with the wind blowing I'd like to know precisely where the BB is going to curve. :) Prior to BBB I used Guarder 0.28g and never had a problem with them either, but PTWs are pickier with what they eat.

Going to try the 0.30g BBB this season and see how it stacks up against the 0.28g outdoors on a sub-400 AEG.

skalnok April 18th, 2008 00:29

right now i like bb bastard.25 and madbull .25

it cuts through light bush and it doesnt take away from the range much

im using a g36 ( full ) upgraded to shoot 380 with .2s
