It'll give you something to pass the time till you turn 18, when you can actually buy one.

Read some reviews first. Its not the most durable gun. You might be a little bit disappointed if it is your first GBB.

I bought one when it came out, and I've been very happy with mine asides from a few problems which were self inflicted (not using 100% silicone oil).

The biggest issue with this gun is the conversion to propane operation, which is a very simple and quick job to do.

I've used the gun stock with coleman brand propane, and haven't had any problems, but you will wear out your slide catch very quickly. If you purchase a metal slide and an upgraded recoil spring, that will solve the problem outright.

The hammer spring upgrade is only really required if you're going to be using it with propane in hot weather.

I've got every upgrade for this gun, an it can easily out perform a MK23, if you make the barrel a little bit longer.

The other problem I had, was with regards to a holster, I had a hell of a time finding a *good* holster for the Compact, eventually, a friend in the service suggested I just use SIG 226 holster, since the guns are almost the same in length and width.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this gun.
